Since moving out here five years ago to work at Upper Deck, it always stuns me how San Diego weather is always perfect for baseball. It’s like this place was made for it, and today is no exception. I got to the stadium and almost immediately bumped into some players headed to the locker room. They seemed to have a bit more spring in their step, and who can blame them? With Strasburg pitching today, the outlook has to be overwhelmingly optimistic.
