Upper Deck is excited to engage with fans during the 2021 National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago. While Upper Deck will not be exhibiting at the event this year, the collectibles giant will have a senior staff onsite and a variety of activities worth checking out. Here’s a breakdown on what to expect.
VIP Gift Bags – For the first time ever, VIP attendees will be able to score collectible Upper Deck breaking mats in their gift bags upon arrival. There will be a limited-edition trading card included as well from a Chicago basketball icon!
Upper Deck Black Packs – Collectors making purchases on the box level from Certified Diamond Dealers in attendance can score Upper Deck’s Summer Black promotional packs directly from the shop’s booth. Participating shops will have signage touting these packs and they will be available while supplies last! Collectors who purchase a 2020-21 NHL hobby box or 2020 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions hobby box can score a Summer Black pack from dealers in attendance. Details below:
New Upper Deck Shirts – Upper Deck Certified Diamond Dealer in attendance will be decked out in new Upper Deck shirts. If you are looking for Upper Deck products, make sure you are purchasing from a Certified Diamond Dealer who will be sporting these shirts. Fans will be able to score some of these shirts via a raffle at the GTS Distribution booth on Friday of the event!
Thursday Main Stage Programming – Upper Deck will be sharing big announcements and hosting free box breaks on Thursday from 3:00-4:00. Make sure to be there right at the start for your chance to get in on the FREE break!
Monumental – Upper Deck Authenticated will not have Monumental boxes for sale at this National Sports Collectors Convention, but a new release is in the works! Upper Deck Authenticated will be releasing the new Monumental product this Fall on UpperDeckStore.com. Make sure you sign up to receive an update for when that product releases along with other new exciting releases!
Upper Deck Authorized Group Breakers – Chris Carlin from Upper Deck will be jumping in on breaks with Authorized Group Breakers in attendance.
Welcome Raffle – Upper Deck will be running a FREE welcome raffle for fans at the GTS Distribution booth on Friday at 3:30 p.m. You must be present to receive an item from the giveaway. Fans can score promotional items, cards, signed memorabilia and sealed boxes. Tickets will be distributed starting at 3:00 on Friday at the GTS booth.
From cards, to memorabilia, to schwag, those who made the investment in getting to the National will score with Upper Deck!
Upper Deck e-Pack users can also score a FREE branded pop socket for their phone after the raffle just by showing their e-Pack account to our on-site representatives.
Expired Redemption Raffle – Upper Deck will run the company’s Expired Redemption Raffle on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the GTS Booth. Fans can submit expired autograph redemption cards with the scratch off codes (unscratched) from Upper Deck products on Friday and Saturday morning of the show for the draw on Saturday. The cards will be available to pick up at the show on Saturday with a state issued ID. Those who cannot pick them up in person will have the cards mailed to them after the show.
Customer Care – Upper Deck’s Customer Care team will be in the office and available to assist customers on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1 to offer assistance during the National Sports Collectors Convention. Upper Deck Diamond Club – Upper Deck has always run an event for the company’s Diamond Club members and candidates at the show. Although the event will not take place this year, the company will be sending a special mailing out to Diamond Club members prior to the National. Four exclusive autograph cards will be up for grabs and shipped randomly to members. Members may find a limited-edition autograph card of Connor McDavid, Ben Simmons, Tiger Woods or Alexis Lafreniere in their package arriving at the end of July!
