Legendary® is a game designed to fight the players. Central to this is the Mastermind mechanic. This is a character that can be a mere nuisance, or out to break the players. Legendary®: X-Men brings with it some of the X-Men’s most powerful adversaries.
As an extra-hard challenge, Legendary® X-Men introduces 6 new “Double-Sided Epic Masterminds.” Each has a normal side, or can be flipped over to use its extra-nasty Epic Mastermind side, using the same Mastermind Tactics.
Regular Onslaught and Dark Phoenix are already devastating. Their “Epic Mastermind” versions are insanely hard, with god-like powers!
Legendary® X-Men also adds a second, completely new card type to Legendary®: Horrors. These make the game harder in a variety of ways. All the Epic Masterminds explicitly say they add Horrors to the game.
Players who want to play in “hard mode” can also choose to add any number of Horrors (random or hand-picked) at the start of a game against any Mastermind. With 20 new Horror cards, how many can you beat at once?
We hope you’ve enjoyed today’s preview of Legendary®: X-Men. Tune in next week for our final card preview with more characters and new card types.
Legendary®: X-Men releases June 28th. Contact your local gaming store to preorder your copy today.

Do horror cards go in the villain deck?
No. They are kept next to the board unless you are told to move them somewhere.
Epic indeed! Higher attack, meaner effects and Horror cards. Losing never looked this fun.
Omg!!!
Dark Pheonix masterstrike says KO the top card of the villain deck
And subsequently all the same colour
If lets say the KO’ed is a core set wolverine
Does that mean all core set wolverine plus all others yellow colour hero will be KO ???
Top card of the Hero Deck, but yes you would KO every card in the Hero Deck that had the same Class as the first card. If it is a Wolverine with Instinct, then all Instinct cards would be KO’d from the Hero Deck.
Why is it so difficult to get any decent cards in the UK?
