There are a lot of components of the new Upper Deck Dinosaurs set that are sure to have collectors and historians excited, but one of the most compelling may be the Fossil Relic cards found in packs through exchange cards. These cards contain authentic fossils from creatures who roamed the earth in prehistoric days and they are so thick, they would stick out like a sore thumb if placed in a pack. Upper Deck will ship them directly to fans who pull these exchange cards and register them with us.

The Fossil Relics have all been completed and are ready to go so let’s take a look at trading cards that are new, but some contain relics that are millions of years old!
Worthy to note that cards will vary in size with some being standard sized (though much thicker) and some being mini or oversized to best contain the relic. All cards will be shipped out randomly to consumers.

These keep looking more and more awesome with each preview. It looks like the wait is finally almost over though! Here’s hoping good luck is with me when I finally get a box to open, as a fossil collector it would be really neat to have one from this set in my collection! Upper Deck looks to have made a high quality set that’ll be worth the wait.
Those are pretty wild. I just watched Jurassic World two nights ago, so I’ve been thinking about dinosaurs lately. I hope to get a hobby box of these. It does make me wonder though….someday millions of years from now will there be relics made of people? 🙂
