In 2004, Upper Deck released VS System, an engaging and exciting dive into the world of card-based superhero battles. The game’s thematic mechanics and strategic depth made it an instant hit. We reintroduced it in 2015 as Vs.2PCG® System®, updating its gameplay to make it more accessible to a broader audience.

Since 2015, the community formed due to this game has been nothing short of incredible. We at Upper Deck feel honored and privileged that such a dedicated and wonderful group of players have consistently attended all our events over the last several years. From regional store-based championships to our larger events every year at Gen Con, we are grateful to have played our part in the forging of this wonderful community.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Therefore, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue all Upper Deck sanctioned events, League Play, and prize support for the Vs.2PCG® System®  by the end of 2024. Our product releases for the rest of the year, Protectors of New York and Crossover Volume 6 will still be available on our Upper Deck web store as scheduled.

Our http://my.upperdeck.com/stores website will be another channel for all of you to connect and maintain that sense of community and camaraderie that has been formed due to your unwavering devotion to the game.

Even though there will be no more OP support for Vs.2PCG® System® after the end of this year, all of us at Upper Deck would still like to convey our heartfelt thanks to all the fans who gave us the opportunity to organize tournaments and events for a game that touched so many lives for so long. All of you are the real winners.
