Suit up, Spartans! It’s time to collect the Halo: The Series, Season One trading cards, available exclusively on Upper Deck e-Pack. Adapted from the popular Halo video game franchise, the Paramount+ original television series follows John-117, known as the Master Chief, in the battle against the alien force known as the Covenant. Relive key moments from Season One and collect cards of your favorite characters. Take a look below to find out more about this exciting new set and the achievements that will be available for it.
The set features 27 digital Base Set cards, with 3 cards for each of the 9 episodes. Each pack will have 5 cards: one physical parallel of the Base Set and 4 of the Silver Team digital Base Set cards. A total of 7 different foil parallels are included in the product and can be acquired through the paths outlined below.
First is the simplest way: you can pull the parallels from packs. The Riz Red, Cortana Blue, Kai Green, and the Halsey Black foil parallels can all be found in packs. The Halsey parallel is a rare 1-of-1 parallel, meaning there will only be one available for each of the 27 cards in the set. Both the Halsey parallel and the Kai Green parallel can only be pulled from packs.
Riz Red and Cortana Blue Parallels
Next, there are three different parallels that can be acquired by combining duplicate cards. On e-Pack, collectors can acquire multiple copies of the same card and combine them to receive an exclusive parallel of that card; the cards that are combined are removed from your e-Pack collection.
In Halo: The Series, Season One, collectors can combine 5 copies of any Silver Team base card to receive a Riz Red foil parallel of that same card. Then, you can combine 5 identical Riz Red parallels to receive a Cortana Blue foil parallel. Finally, when you combine 2 identical Cortana Blue parallels, you will receive a Vannak Orange foil parallel. The Vannak parallel can only be achieved through combining cards; Riz Red and Cortana Blue foil parallels can be acquired both by opening packs and by combining.
If you’re new to the Upper Deck e-Pack site, it’s time to learn about Achievements! Achievements are rewards you can redeem for collecting certain sets of cards on the site. When you redeem for an achievement on e-Pack, the required cards remain in your account, and, if they are physical, can still be shipped to you, but cannot be used again for an achievement. For the Halo: The Series, Season One set, collectors can redeem for Uncut Sheets when completing the 27-card set of certain foil parallels. These Uncut Sheet Achievements are limited, so be sure to complete the achievements while supplies last!
The first 27 collectors to complete and redeem the full Riz Red parallel set will receive one numbered uncut sheet of that parallel. The first 18 collectors to complete and redeem the full Cortana Blue parallel set will receive one numbered uncut sheet of that parallel. The first 9 collectors to complete and redeem the full Vannak Orange parallel will receive one numbered uncut sheet of that parallel. Lastly, the FIRST collector to complete and redeem the full Kai Green parallel set will receive the three numbered uncut sheets of this set.
An uncut sheet refers to a single sheet of trading cards that has not been cut into individual cards. Each Halo: The Series, Season One Uncut Sheet will be hand numbered. The Riz Red uncut sheets will be numbered out of 9. The Cortana Blue uncut sheets will be numbered out of 6. The Vannak Orange uncut sheets will be numbered out of 3. Lastly, the Kai Green uncut sheets will each be numbered 1 of 1.
Master Chief Parallel Achievement Card
If you’re not one of the firsts to complete a set, there’s still one more achievement you have a chance to redeem! Once the 27 Riz Red Uncut Sheet achievements have been redeemed, the following 459 collectors to redeem the full Riz Red set will be randomly awarded one Master Chief parallel achievement card. The Master Chief Parallel achievements are printed with silver foil and are numbered to 17.
