The Set That Never Was
The final set of Skybox E-X 2000 is finally here. In the 1990’s, Fleer introduced to the collecting world the Skybox E-X 2000 brand through the release of sets for basketball (1996-97), football (1997) and baseball (1997). Featuring stellar designs and innovative card constructions, these sets were very popular amongst collectors and are now considered by many to be iconic.
There was one intended set that never made it to the market. Upper Deck is excited to announce that it’s filling the gap with the late-2024 release of 2023-24 NHL Skybox E-X 2000!

Finally some inovation, eventhough it’s a wayback machine. I’m looking forvard to it! I just finnished reading Mike Cramer’s book, and I see plenty of Pacific ideas still in praxis. This design definitelly takes me back to that era.
