Marvel’s lineup of characters is recognized the world over, and ironically one of their most famous also happens to be an incredible secret agent. Natasha Romanoff has been a member of both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers, but her story begins as a part of the Black Widow spy program. She’s since taken that name as her own, and is here to headline our latest expansion, Legendary®: Black Widow!
She won’t be alone on this latest assignment, with allies and fellow agents joining the Hero Deck – most brand new to the game. The same goes for our Villains and Masterminds, though, and it’ll take some skilled keyword usage to overcome their challenges. That might even mean sending cards to unexpected places…
Dodge
Previously seen in Legendary®: Villains, Dodge is perfect for emphasizing characters’ agility and evasive tendencies. Dodge means “During your turn, you may discard this card from your hand to draw another card.” When you Dodge a card from your hand, you’re not “playing” it. That means you don’t gain benefits from its color to help trigger Superpowers played that turn.
What you do gain, are effects that can be stronger or weaker depending on the situation, making the decision to Dodge a card particularly strategic. Maybe you want to sway your hand towards attacking or recruiting, or maybe you’re fishing for a clutch card to make a big play. With these tense moments, it all comes down to a well timed Dodge!
Sometimes it’ll take more than swift moves to get things done. You might need to get off the grid entirely to mingle with Villains and gather valuable intel. This too falls within the range of a Black Widow’s abilities, and we’ve got just the keyword for that as well.
Undercover
Returning from Legendary®: S.H.I.E.L.D., sending a Hero Undercover means “Put that Hero into your Victory Pile. It’s worth 1 Victory Point.” Some cards allow you to send others Undercover, which is a great way to thin out starting cards or cards that clash with how your deck has come together. Others go Undercover themselves, like Yelena Belova’s “Strike and Fade” card. This would still allow you to use her , and other cards would be able to use and other abilities when they’re sent Undercover too.
This isn’t the last we’ve seen of Undercover this expansion, so if you’re enjoying all this espionage action be sure to keep an eye out for our next Legendary®: Black Widow preview!

I am excited to see new content like this for Legendary. However, I would love to see you reprint some of the older sets as well. Specifically, I would love to see X-Men and Captain America sets reprinted.
Just recently got into Marvel Legendary and loving the fact that you are still supporting the game this many years after it was released.
Would add my voice to those that have asked for older content to be reprinted. The big box expansions – Secret Wars 1&2, Civil War and X-Men are near impossible to find here in the UK.
