During the pandemic, interest in trading cards spiked and coming out of the pandemic, collectible card shows are drawing a lot of fans. The largest collectibles show in Canada takes place Thursday, November 11 through Sunday, November 14 known as the Fall Sport Card & Memorabilia Expo. As a show sponsor, Upper Deck will be running a variety of program to engage with fans in attendance.
Upper Deck Breaker Zone: Upper Deck will have a large area surrounded by rink boards in the center of the hall for collectors to open packs in. Fans are invited to use the area to participate in the company’s wrapper redemption program.

Upper Deck Wrapper Redemption Program: As a tool to help dealers in attendance, Upper Deck runs a wrapper redemption program where fans can score special 3-card packs of a unique promotional set for purchasing Upper Deck boxes at the show. In the interest of simplicity, Upper Deck is keeping this particular program as simple as possible. Collectors who purchase a sealed hobby box of 2020-21 NHL Upper Deck Extended Series from a Certified Diamond Dealer in attendance can score a sealed wrapper redemption pack by opening it in our Breaker Zone while supplies last. This year the packs contain a random assortment of Victory Black rookie cards, Team Canada World Juniors midnight parallels (limited to 50 copies) and Parkhurst Priority Signings autograph cards.

Worthy of note, given shortages on foil packaging, these packs were hand-collated in team bags with a header card on both sides so fans cannot see which players are included.
While wrapper redemption packs will look a little different this year, they were hand-collated and will deliver great value with some of the first trading cards ever for rookies and prospects.
FREE Daily Raffles: As a thank you to our fans for making Upper Deck, ‘The Collector’s Choice,” we will run a free daily raffle where fans can score a variety of prizes. Tickets will be distributed each day 30 minutes prior to the start of the raffle. Fans must be present in order to win. Here is a schedule for the raffle program:
Thursday: 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 3:00 p.m.
Saturday: 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m.

Young Guns Photo Opportunity: We have created a large life-size cutout of a Young Guns card where the only thing that is missing is you! Stop by, grab your camera phone and snap a photo! And just like that you have your very own digital Upper Deck card!
Trade Night: On Saturday night Upper Deck is excited to sponsor a trade night in the evening at the Four Points by Sheraton. Talk cards with some of the most passionate collectors in the industry and sling those doubles for cards to add to your personal collection!
