Last year Upper Deck ran a promotion where fans could get their dad plugged in as a fan behind a player on a NHL card for a digital card and a poster. The response to that program was tremendous and while we couldn’t make a card for everyone, we promised we would bring the promotion back again for this year. As the NHL gets ready to get back on the ice, Upper Deck wants to shine a light on some great dads by creating this memorable gift for them through our Random Acts of Kindness program.
Put your dad in the game this Father’s Day!
We need a high resolution jpeg image of dad in his team gear in front of a solid background (not the same color as the jersey he is wearing). The quality of the image you provide will be a major determining factor in whether or not your submission is selected. Here is an example of the type of image we are looking for and what the finished card looks like:
Email that image to our team at [email protected] along with 3-5 sentences about why your dad is worthy of appearing in the background of a card and what his favorite team/player is. We will select six different dads to appear on digital cards and provide poster sized versions of the card in time for Father’s Day. All submissions need to be received in by midnight on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Those selected will be contacted via email by Monday, June 15.
