At the Western Canada Sports Collectors Convention in Langley, BC Upper Deck partnered with the show promoters to provide an incredible experience to young fans over the weekend. Upper Deck is laser focused on creating memories with young fans that will resonate with them forever.
Families loved our photo opps with oversize versions of our trading cards. We hope it helps these youngsters visualize a day where they may have a rookie card of their own.
On kids day, Upper Deck distributed over 1,500 NHL® trading card packs that included guides on how to collector hockey cards. We had a station for kids where they could visit and grab the packs and other small gifts. We also shared loose cards from breaks over the weekend with excited youngsters. They were a huge hit with the youngsters in attendance with one collector sharing, “This is the best day of my life.”

Young collectors loved opening packs with their families and discovering awesome Upper Deck cards! Collecting Upper Deck hockey cards is proving to be an incredible hobby for the entire family. Except for dogs. They often say opening the packs is, “Ruff!”
