Most collectors have a card set they are working to build, but sometimes they can get stuck. Most take to working on these projects during the weekend by hitting their local card shop, shows, online message boards or online auction sites. Upper Deck wants to leverage the power of our fans to assist with these set collecting quests. It’s time to get started on finishing your sets with Upper Deck’s #SetCollectorSaturday on Twitter!
Every Saturday on Twitter, @UpperDeckSports will retweet and share card collecting quests, card collecting successes and fun stories from fans working to complete their sets. Use the #SetCollectorSaturday hashtag on Twitter and be clear about what you are looking for with the set name and year. Posting pictures help a lot as well!
Here’s an example of the type of tweets we are talking about that Upper Deck will amplify awareness for through our main Twitter account!
The more other collectors know about your pursuit, the sooner you can finish your set. The more eyes you have out there watching for the cards you need, the better your chances for completing these sets. After all, we can all agree that collecting is better when you share your experiences with others and lifelong friendships can be made through these interactions. It’s a friendly hobby, and Upper Deck is working overtime to help!
Stay tuned for more posts this summer about #SetCollectorSaturday because nothing feel better than finishing those Upper Deck sets!
