Vs. System® 2PCG® is a game that puts you in the middle of the action. So what happens when we put you in the card?

The Vs System® 2PCG® promo card at the 2018 Gen Con in Indianapolis, IN isn’t just for players. Upper Deck is creating a free personal card for every attendee that stops by our Organized Play room (Wabash Ballroom 1-3) Friday, August 3rd and Saturday, August 4th. In 2014 we offered a Legendary card to attendees and it was an absolute blast. You don’t want to miss this.

All you need to do is get your picture taken by our friendly staff and the card will be made right there. So bring your friends, even if they don’t play Vs. System 2PCG. It’s so easy and it’s FREE!

While you’re there stay for a full gambit of games for Vs System® 2PCG® including learn to play Beginner Games, Draft events, three side events (3 Player Team-Up, Secret Wars and Photo Finish) and a $5000 tournament on Friday.

Here is the current schedule:

  • Thursday (1pm) – 3 Player Team-Up Event – Vs. System 2PCG has always been you vs the world. So what happens when you have a team to back you up? The tournament format will be Swiss with number of rounds determined by participation. Each round the team that scores the most game wins, wins the match. Think of this as a best of three where all three games are played at the same time, with six different decks.   48 players max (16 – 3 person teams) / 4 Swiss rounds / $4 entry fee
  • Friday (10am) – $5K Championship – For all the marbles (and a nice chunk of change.) Bring your best deck and battle it out over Swiss rounds to see who is truly the best.   120 players max / Number of Swiss rounds dependent on number of players. Cut to Top 8 which will play on Sunday at 10am. / $10 entry fee
  • Friday (3pm) – Secret Wars – We are removing the deck building limitation and allowing the Photographic and Illustrated Universes to collide. It’s time to create your best deck using the entire Vs. System 2PCG card pool.  32 players max / 4 rounds of Swiss / $4 entry fee
  • Saturday (1pm) – Photo Finish – An alternate format tournament: constructed decks must use only MCU sets (The MCU Battles, MCU Heroes and MCU Villains).  32 players max / 4 rounds of Swiss / $4 entry fee
  • Thursday, Saturday and Sunday (10am) – Draft Cubes – What kind of deck can you make when everyone is fighting over the same pool of cards? A pod of 8 players will draft their Main Characters as well as all the other cards in their decks (Supporting Characters, Plot Twists, Equipment, and even the Locations). Don’t worry about bringing your own cards, we will supply the cards for the draft.  8 players per pod / 4 rounds of single elimination / $4 entry fee
  • Win-A-Box events (Everyday) – Grab your best deck and test it against a pod of 8 players in single elimination. The winner walks away with their own copy of Vs. System® 2PCG®: The MCU Battles. 8 players per pod / 4 rounds of single elimination / $6 entry fee
  • Beginner Games (Everyday) – Have you always wanted to learn Vs. System 2PCG but didn’t know where to start? Learn the basics of this 2 players constructed deck card game using the latest set based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. $4 entry fee
