Upper Deck hops the pond for some Vs. System® 2PCG® fun at the UK Games Expo.
- Friday Morning 11am – Single Team Constructed
What’s the best Loyalty deck you can build? In Loyalty all cards with a team affiliation must share a single affiliation. This also opens up the powerful Loyalty plot twists that were introduced in last year’s Vs. System® 2PCG®: Legacy.
- Friday Afternoon 3pm – No Heroes Constructed
Cards only from The Alien™ Battles and The Predator™ Battles sets are allowed. Super Powers aren’t welcome here. It’s just some acid blood, a lot of equipment, and a couple people named Ripley.
- Saturday Morning 10am – UK Nationals
Full constructed event, no special rules. All cards through New Mutants are legal. Bring your best and make it count.
- Sunday Morning 11am – Marvel Good vs Evil Event
There is a special twist on this side event. Each player must bring two decks, each only from Marvel sets and they must be one of only Good Team Affiliations and the other with only Evil Team Affiliations.
The winner of the coin toss can either choose to go first or choose his deck. The other player then gets the other choice. If Player A wins the toss and chooses to go first, Player B gets to decide which Deck they will use. At which point Player A has to use the opposing deck. If Player A chooses a deck, Player B is using his opposing alignment deck, but gets to decide if he goes first or second.
In addition, for new players there are 4 player Win-a-box pods for The Marvel Battles Set that can be requested.
Players trying out the Leviathon Invasion at Gen Con 2017
The Leviathon Invasion is back with the Leviathon Mother taking on tag teams for bragging rights and prizes.
Organized Play Kits, oversized cards, promo cards, playmats, and even a special alternate extended art Captain Britain promo card will be available to players.
It’s going to be an epic weekend and if you play Vs. System® 2PCG® or want to give it a try, then you REALLY should be there.
