For our final three previews, we’re going to make up a little gameplay story.
Let’s say on your first turn you’re not that happy with your hand. So you decide to have Cypher translate your cards into something else:
Cypher smooths out your draw so that on turn three you decide to play Mirage to create the illusion of a new place:
Keep in mind when you recruit Mirage and use her Create Illusion to put a basic location into your resource row, that resource won’t generate a recruit point since the beginning of the Resource Step will have already happened.
When Mirage leaves play, if you don’t have any basic locations face-up in your resource row, you won’t have to put any back into your hand.
Finally on turn 4 you’ll hopefully have five resources and recruit this guy.
Sunspot’s power is not optional. He can’t help but absorb energy, whether it’s yours or (hopefully) your opponent’s.
