2017 Marvel Premier is all about sketch cards. Each pack of Premier contains at least 2 sketch cards; a single panel and either a multi-panel or oversized sketch card. Multi-panel sketches come in booklet, triple, or quadruple panels. The oversized card comes on 5”x7” 20 point weight cardstock. Each sketch card in the set is done by one of a myriad of talented artists such as Joe Jusko, Bob Larkin, and Melike Acar.
But wait… Premier is already out? So why are we talking about this beautiful original art set again?
Because 2017 Marvel Premier is now available on Upper Deck e-Pack!
In addition to the sketch cards, you’ll find a 55 card base set with each card numbered to 125. Look for three different Parallel sets; Blue Cyan (numbered to 50), Gold Spectrum (numbered to 10), and the incredibly rare, limited to 5, Black set. Each pack contains 2 Base and/or Parallel cards.
You can also find Classic Art Shadow Box insert cards that infuse classic art pieces with current Marvel characters. On the back, you’ll find the original piece and information about it – including the original artist and year of completion.
Ready to strive for achievements? The base set and Blue Cyan Parallel have achievements for redeeming complete sets. Only fifteen users will be able to get the rare Black Foil Parallel achievement by first getting all five Blue Cyan Parallel Achievements by collecting chunks of the set. To get the 5th achievement for the Bronze Bust set, you must get the other four achievements by collecting certain cards from the Bust insert set.
