Upper Deck’s Goodwin Champions trading card release has always featured interesting and weird content collectors enjoy. One of the newest creations will debut in 2016 Goodwin Champions as booklet cards that will open up to reveal part of a story and an incredibly detailed, hand-painted recreation of the Alice in Wonderland story.
The cards are a tribute to the incredible artistry of John Tenniel in the original story, but re-imagined in full color and with enhanced detail. There will be 21 unique cards, in chapter order, numbered to ten copies (each painting will be original, painted as close as possible to the others as the human hand will allow).
The story is not over! Also, look for cards embedded with authentic cut pages from an actual early 20th century edition of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Upper Deck’s 2016 Goodwin Champions will be available in hobby shops in mid-July . There will also be some retail and e-Pack distribution on as well on the product.
