Upper Deck’s MVP product is one that releases so early in the season the company cannot include new rookie content as there is a mandate that states UD cannot create rookie cards of NHL® players until they skate in an official game. Therefore UD inserts rookie exchange cards into the product and after enough time passes during the season to give rookies the opportunity to skate, the checklist is finalized and production of the cards begins.

At this time the checklist has been finalized and the cards are going into production. Below is a look at the players who will be included in the rookie redemption sets:
