It’s an incredible time to be a collector and fan of the NHL® with so many young stars like Connor McDavid, Max Domi, Dylan Larkin, Sam Bennett, Jack Eichel, Artemi Panarin and Robby Fabbri making a huge impact on the ice. The big wait has been on obtaining their first licensed rookie cards from 2015-16 Upper Deck NHL® Series One which releases just days prior to the Fall Sportscard & Memorabilia Expo in Toronto November 6-8.
You’ll want to grab your boxes and cases of that product and others from Upper Deck Certified Diamond Dealers at the show and you’ll know who they are by the yellow balloons soaring high above their booths.
After you make that purchase, bring that sealed product for the Upper Deck booth for the opportunity to participate in Upper Deck’s box and case breaker promotions. You can score special promotional cards that are sure to be highly sought after collectibles for years to come.
UD Midnight Parallel Cards – Limited to just 25 copies!
Victory Black Rookie Cards – Super short-printed cards available only in Upper Deck Expo packs

It’s not just cards though, you’ll also be able to find incredible signed memorabilia from Upper Deck Authenticated at show specials from the game’s best players.
The Fall Sportscard & Memorabilia Expo is just the best, and I’ve been a lot so here are some of my secret tips to make the most of your experience!
Breakfast with Tim Horton’s – Look for Upper Deck exclusive Tim Horton’s trading cards at nearby locations if they still have them. It’s a great way to start the day with cards and coffee before the show opens!
Get Stepping – You’ll want to make sure you take in the whole show first before you start making purchases so wear comfortable shoes. The floors are concrete and if you’re not in comfortable footwear, your dogs will be barking later!
Be on the Lookout – There are some incredible collectors at this show with even more incredible items. Look for crowds and get ready to behold the types of cards that could be traded for automobiles! It is incredible to see.
Cash Up – There is only one ATM at the show and it routinely runs out of cash and doesn’t always except all cards. So bring a good bankroll just in case.
Bathroom Break – What many people don’t realize at the show is there are actually two restrooms in the hall. The one downstairs see a LOT of action, but if you just head up the stairs you will find another bathroom that is pretty clean. That’s where you’ll want to go when nature calls.
Meat Me – You’re not going to find a great steak at the show like you’ll find at The Keg nearby or inexpensive appetizers like you’ll get at Arizona’s or Lone Star, but there are a couple good things to try there outside the food court. Don’t miss the beef jerky booth. Yes, there is actually a booth at the show that serves a variety of beef jerky and it is all pretty darn good.
Also, don’t miss Rob the Hot Dog guy. He is a super star and his dogs are delicious. For some reason they taste great in the November cold outside the show.
Let’s Play – Come by the Upper Deck booth to try your hand at Bubble Hockey. Nothing gets you in the mood for collecting hockey like playing hockey.
More Games to Play – Make sure to participate in Upper Deck’s Random Acts of Kindness Scavenger Hunt at the show on Friday and our raffles on Saturday and Sunday. They are free and Upper Deck will be giving away over 100 prizes over the course of the weekend!
Make Memories with the Entire Family – Have your phone charged and grab photos of the fun throughout the weekend. Make sure to tag @UpperDeckHockey on Twitter and @UpperDeckSports on Instagram! And use the #CollectConnor hashtag, especially when you score one of his Young Guns rookie cards from packs!

Is there any other shows upcoming? I recently just got back into collecting and had full intentions on attending my first show but my wife is now in labor with our twins so i will not be able to attend
Kudos to Upper Deck for a great showing at the 2015 Fall Expo. Your people were always very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile.
The only negative comment is that the “packs” that you were giving out for the box breaks were not the greatest, there was almost no buzz out on the floor, per my opinion. I Also signatures were great but it seemed that the “stars” were only available to case hits.
