In the world of internet savvy canines, one pooch reigns supreme; Manny the Frenchie. The adorable bulldog has found fame online where his 778,000 Instagram fans and 1.1 million Facebook fans regularly tune in to see what is new with Manny.
Manny, a native of Chicago, is a fan of many of the local sports teams so when he heard Upper Deck would be at the National Sports Collectors Convention from July 29-August 2, 2015, he just had to be there. Upper Deck is bringing in Manny on Friday, July 31 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. to the Upper Deck booth (#830) where fans can stop by and rub Manny’s tummy (if he’s in the mood), but there’s much more! *
As such an important part of the Chicago community, Upper Deck felt it was time Manny the Frenchie was honored for all he does by creating a special 5-card set of Upper Deck cards! The cards are available with a $5 donation to the Chicago French Bulldog Rescue and they are sure to be a collector’s item.
Fans can also get a photo opp with Manny the Frenchie on an Upper Deck card with just a $2 donation to the charity.
Don’t miss out on what is sure to be a dog gone good time with Upper Deck and Manny the Frenchie!
*Manny does have bathroom breaks in his contract so the appearance will not run for two consecutive hours. If Manny is out doing his business, please be patient while he returns.

It’s a good cause but I really don’t get what this has to do with Sports?
