Card shops, sports collectible shows and online collecting message boards have been buzzing with fans talking about Upper Deck’s latest high-end release; 2010-11 NHL The Cup. It has been a lot of fun for us to see fans interacting and having such a positive experience with this product. Unfortunately, 2010-11 NHL The Cup is not a product that is in every customer’s price range with individual packs selling for over $300. What’s more, there is a very limited amount of the product in the market, so even if you do have the money, it can be difficult to track down.
Internally we do not get very much of this product to use for samples, but we were able to secure one pack to use for a promotion with our fans. We have heard how much collectors would love the opportunity to open a pack of this product, but how would we go about rewarding something so in demand to just one fan? We wanted to come up with a promotion that would be unique and fun for our loyal customers. Remember those commercials from Klondike where they asked the famous question, “What would you do for a Klondike bar?” Well that is what we are asking our fans now, “What would you do for a pack of The Cup?”
Take a little time and think about it. It can be heartfelt and philanthropic. It can be juvenile and funny. What we are really looking for is something creative, because let’s face it, these packs are not easy to come by so whoever we award it to should have to do something different. Leave what you are willing to do for a pack of Upper Deck’s 2010-11 NHL The Cup product in the comment section below, just please keep it clean.
We will pick our top five favorites from these comments on Friday afternoon and then allow fans to vote on which comment they like the most through the Upper Deck Facebook page for a short period. The comment with the most amount of “likes” will be selected to receive the pack if they accomplish the task they agreed to. After the winner completes the task they agreed to we will then award them a pack of The Cup. So we’ve got to ask you, “What would you do for a pack of The Cup?”

I can’t find my other post on here so I’m doing it again. Sorry if it pops up twice. I will go to my LCS omni cards and comics in Wethersfield, CT (a great store and a diamond dealer) on a Sunday afternoon during football season, and give up watching football for that afternoon, not even score checks on my phone while I’m there. Instead I will hand out 15 jersey, patch and auto cards to the first 15 children who come into the shop that afternoon. Each child will receive one card, and at least one lucky child will receive a card with a Beckett book value of at least $50. I will be handing out several cards from this years spa hockey and ultimate hockey as well as several other cards. There will be no duds all rookies, stars or hofer’s. I will also do card tricks upon request
I can’t see the one I posted I so I’ll say it again. I will email panini saying “You guys Can try to make as many sets of cards but NONE of them can compete with any of the Upper deck cards.” And I will list all the reasons why. I have never opened the cup and I’m dying to do so.
I would sell the contenets of the box to buy booze and chesseburgers!
I would have some friend over to open a pack of cards that no one I know can afford to break. The only cup cards i have gotten have been the ones from trades or auctions. Some of my casual friends can not believe the cost of the high end packs.
I would also donate the proceeds for the cards (I would keep one card)to the Wounded Warrior Foundations, to support wounded soldiers.

I would listen to a Justin Bieber album for 12 hours straight!
I’ll say: Thank you all!
And then I’ll open The CUP box. xP
Regards
I would learn to play hockey and become a 35 year old star rookie for the chicago blackhawks just for a chance at a shot at The Cup. I would make Kane, Toews, and Crosby look like scrubs.
What would I do for a pack of The Cup? I would wash all of the Toronto Maple Leafs Equipment after their hockey game. They stink so that would be a painful task. Lol
If not too late to enter –
I would dress up as a hockey card and go around local businesses and get my picture taken with owners and strangers on the street. Yes, hockey card. I already have an idea laid out for it!

Oh yeah, i would post the pics online in a fb folder so everyone could see. Possibly even take a hockey stick around and get everyone i took a pic with to sign it.
I would eat a dozen Klondike Bars, what would YOU do?
Hi Chris im not sure if i can post a second one if not can you erase the first and make this my submission please and thank you.
For a pack of The Cup i will do the following.
I go to Ottawa to collect autographs from the players a few times a year and there a great group of guys so i think i will be able to do this without and troubles in the parking lot after practise once training camp opens.
I will go to Ottawa and have 3 players from the Ottawa Senators simultaneously take 3 shot each at me with a street hockey orange ball while im in net tied to the posts with no equipment on other than a jock and a pair of glasses for my eyes (and maybe a mouth guard i like my teeth where they currently are lol). While they shot i will chant the cheer Go Leafs Go to assure they fire there best shots at me. If i can only get 1 player to participate i will give him 10 shots. That will be more danger for me as he will learn the way to shot the ball a lot better as he goes OUCH.
I’d eat 100 Swedish meatballs from Ikea!!!
I would dye my hair pink for a pack of The Cup.
I would get a very first tattoo…and it would be “UD”
I think I would cry of joy…
