So to review, over the last few weeks I’ve revealed signatures we had right here in the office of Napoleon Bonaparte, Jack Johnson, and John Gotti. Rounding it out? How about Mother Teresa.
As with our previous three historical figures, the history for Mother Teresa is far too expansive to list here, so I’ll point you to her Wikipedia page. Her name is definitely synonymous with charity, and she won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. In case you’re wondering about Human Rights Day (started by the United Nations in 1948), click here for more information. A very cool piece of history to hold, for sure. And again, it will ultimately end up in the hands of a lucky Upper Deck customer: I’m willing to bet it’s the first Upper Deck signature from an individual beatified by a Pope.
