Fans will want to get to the shop early as there will be some special giveaways to the first collectors present that evening and a variety of fun giveaways throughout the night. Once the NSCC opens on Wednesday, collectors will see two new types of memorabilia items the likes of which they have never seen before at the Upper Deck booth.
First up is the “Franchise Cornerstone” display featuring autographs of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan on a 48”x18” multilayered acrylic display. Behind the player’s image is a quote from the players talking about each other along with stats from their career. These “Dream Team” members seldom sign together and this is a piece you have to see in person to appreciate.
Next up you have another innovative collectible in the “Perfecting the Craft” bamboo print featuring Tiger Woods. The picturesque image shows Tiger launching a tee shot at Torrey Pines that is printed on actual bamboo. Tiger lent his perfect signature to the piece as well and they are limited to just 50 total copies!
And as an additional incentive, Chicago fans who make a purchase from Upper Deck Authenticated of $500 or more will receive the Chicago Bulls “Defenders of the Hardwood” game-used floor piece for FREE!
The top three purchasers of UDA items at the show will be invited to Upper Deck’s ultra-exclusive Diamond Club Member & Candidate reception as well on Saturday night!
