The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs may be over, but fans of teams who didn’t hoist the Cup are already looking forward to the 2011 NHL Draft in Saint Paul, Minnesota on June 24 & 25. The electric feeling in the building during the NHL Draft is just unbelievable where tomorrow’s superstars are selected. Upon being selected, draft picks take the stage and then are put through what is known as “The Gauntlet” where they are run through a variety of behind-the-scenes stations. When they are finished, they are officially a NHL rookie.
Unfortunately fans don’t get to see that part of the NHL Draft; until now.
