NHL Rookies Learn to Tape Their Sticks, Upper Deck Style!

With the 2009-10 NHL regular season now underway, the Upper Deck Company proudly unveils the second of several NHL Rookies-themed videos that we were able to capture during the inaugural Upper Deck NHL Rookie Debut Photo Shoot at the Hershey Centre in Toronto on August 26.
Following where Upper Deck’s first vignette entitled “Signing Cards” left off, the second video shows three NHL newcomers going through the motions when asked by fictitious, loud-mouth hockey coach “Ron Cherry” to properly tape their sticks. Watch as James Van Riemsdyk of the Philadelphia Flyers, Bobby Sanguinetti of the New York Rangers and Colin Wilson of the Nashville Predators try their hand at tackling the “Taping Sticks” segment.
Look for cards of many of these upstart rookies first appearing in Upper Deck’s 2009-10 Series One Hockey release next month.
